The Rye & District Chamber of Commerce was established in 1948 by a local retailer to represent the collective views of local businesses through membership…and since that time has remained so.
The work of Rye Chamber of Commerce is undertaken by its members, on a voluntary basis. We have an increasing membership of local businesses from Rye and the surrounding area.
Our aim is the promotion of the interests of the business community in Rye and District. We are allied to (ACES) the Alliance of Chambers in East Sussex - not just one voice but many.

The Chamber seeks to protect the town's economic integrity and prosperity via membership involvement. The membership includes businesses of all types and sizes from independent shops, and architects to solicitors and hospitality.
